G.E.A.R (Generating Employment Alternative for self-Reliance) is non-profit organization, who provides ’interest free – micro loans’ unlike conventional microfinance banks. So far we have successfully established 55 families, Alhamdulillah, through a total financing of about 550,000 pak rupees. Until now all the financings and expenses have been catered through donations, however in future we intend to incorporate Shariah compliant modes such as Musharkah, Mudarbah and Ijarah to cover our operating expenses.

Till now the success we have seen is only due to the Grace of Allah SWT, Who has allowed our friends and family members to offer us continuous support, and we hope that we will get the same in future as well.

For those who are learning about us for the first time can offer us their support in the following manner.

1. Help us find deserving individuals who are trustworthy at the same time.
2. Share Ideas on how we can be more efficient and effective. Or ideas on small businesses which any poor guy can start to earn money.
3. Donate as little or as much as you can, and invite others as well.
4. Make a Social Investment: You can invest in our projects, so as to help multiple individuals one after another. This you can do instead of saving your money in current bank accounts or keeping them at home. We can refund the exact amount whenever you please.
5. Help spread the word.

Only together we can end poverty and illiteracy, and make this society a safer place for all.
